That’s it. I’ve had it.
I was reading a post on the physical violence enacted on a family who are world travelers, by a bunch of ignorant and border line evil people who deemed their dreams and lifestyle to be so horrid they needed to be hurt. Imagine that. INSANE.
It really upset me. I told my husband about it and like usual, he ranted on how crazy society it is, assuming that the consumer driven, house with a white picket fence is the way to go!!!
( let’s not talk about how unhappy most people are, regardless of whether or not they are homeowners…)
But really, how long have people who have done things differently been persecuted? It really is so hypocritical when religions preach kindness and good will….and yet persecute people who do things that are different. Um, what? Did you miss what your scriptures have told you, or that to love your neighbor is something of utmost importance??
Anyhow, I am just sick of small minded people…so I thought ‘that’s it…I am going to do a series on unconventional family living’ as an attempt to give a little cyber party to doing things differently!!
